 The Ohio River House is located in the small river town of Higginsport, OH, just 35 miles east of Cincinnati via U.S. Hwy. 53 (I-275 exit 71).

The Ohio River House offers a diverse selection of accommodations ranging from traditional guest rooms in the Dugan Residence to fully-furnished, fully-equipped suites, studios or apartments in the Riverboat House.

Whether you are looking for an overnight or weekend get-away, or a weekly or longer stay, you will find the Ohio River House well-suited to your needs.

enjoy the river traffic as it moves lazily down the Ohio River. We have over 2 acres of landscaped grounds with 500 feet of private waterfront and a lovely terrace at the river's edge. The stately and elegantly appointed Ohio River House boasts antique-filled rooms that capture the ambiance of the turn of the century.

PLEASE NOTE: The riverboat you see to the left is the Mississippi Queen as it passes in front of our property while on a scheduled cruise. The Mississippi Queen is one of 3 paddlewheelers operated by the Delta Queen Steamboat company www.DeltaQueen.com . For information on a cruise please contact the Delta Queen Steamboat Company directly. The Ohio River House does not provide or book cruises.

Sightseeing and dinner cruises are available through BB Riverboats in Coving, KY. To arrange a dinner or sightseeing cruise, please contact BB Riverboats directly at 606-261-8500 or visit the BB Riverboats website www.BBRiverboats.com. The Ohio River House does not offer packages including sightseeing or dinner cruises.

The nearby White Oak Creek Marina now has a Pontoon Boat available for rent. Please call the White Oak Creek Marina directly at 513-417-0400 for more information and booking. The Ohio River House does not parrange pontoon boat rentals.
