Ohio River House and Riverboat House -Additional Information Private Baths: All of our accommodations have private baths. For Dugan Residence Guest Rooms, the weekend B&B Plan Extra person charge is $20/person/night for a single night stay, or $15/person/night for a multiple night stay INCLUDING BREAKFAST. The Extra Person Charge for the Riverboat House accommodations varies depending on the unit and the number of Extra Persons staying in the unit. Please refer to the individual Accommodation pages for specifics on the Extra Person Charge for the Riverboat House accommodations. You can find the individual pages for each of the Riverboat House accommodations by following this link (www.OhioRiverHouse.com/rooms.html) . The "rooms" page provides a summary of accommodations, plus a brief description of the various rooms. Click on the room of interest to get to the page for the particular room you are interested in. arrival and departure on Saturday of the following week .) Breakfast is NOT AVAILABLE for Extended Stay Plan guests. Extended Stay Plan rates for the Riverboat House accommodations are: Suites, Studios or Great Room $60 per night, 1-BR apartment $75 per night, 2-BR apartment $100 per night for up to the "base number" of persons for the particular unit. The Extended Stay Plan is not available for the individual guest rooms in the Dugan Residence. Please see the indivudual pages for each of the Riverboat House accommodations for the Extra Person charge applicable to the accommodation of interest. Reservations & Cancellations: Except for (a) groups (3 or more rooms), or (b) weekly rentals, we do not accept reservations more than 2 months in advance of the scheduled arrival date. For individual couples reserving accommodations, a $25 non-refundable deposit is required at the time a reservation (7+days ahead) is made. If a reservation is subsequently canceled, the amount of the deposit IS NOT CREDITED. The non-refundable deposit is the fee paid for performing the service of holding the room for the date requested by the party canceling the reservation. THE NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT ALSO APPLIES TO RESERVATIONS MADE FOR THE USE OF A GIFT CERTIFICATE, IF THE RESERVATION IS MADE MORE THAN 30 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF THE SCHEDULED ARRIVAL DATE. FOR GUESTS REDEEMING A GIFT CERTIFICATE, THE DEPOSIT WILL BE REFUNDED AT TIME OF CHECK-IN. For group reservations (3 or more accommodations), the amount of the non-refundable deposit will vary depending on the number of rooms reserved and the time of year. For a weekend or holiday reservation made within 7 days of the scheduled weekend or holiday arrival date, a charge for the full amount of the room cost is processed at the time the reservation is made (no cancellation). If an advance weekend or holiday reservation is canceled with less than 14 days advance notice, a fee equal to the rate of the canceled room (less the deposit) is charged as a fee for having performed the service of removing the accommodation for availability to other guests. There is ALWAYS a charge equal to the cost of the room in the case of a "no show" (i.e., no prior notice of cancellation). This cancellation policy also applies for late-cancellation of reservations made for the use of a Gift Certificate. In the case of a Gift Certificate, in lieu of the room-holding fee, the Gift Certificate will be deemed to have been used. Pets & Children: Guests with trained pets and well-behaved children are welcome in the Riverboat House accommodations. The guest rooms in the Dugan Residence are not suitable for children. We ARE NOT pet babysitters, pets are not to be left unattended. Pets, disturb other guests when mom and dad are gone result in mom and dad paying for the room of the disturbed guests as well. Ohio B&B Association Gift Certificates. Gift Certificates are available in any dollar denomination toward the cost of a stay of the recipient's choice. The Gift Certificate is worded as follows: This certificate entitles you to $[dollar amount of purchaser's choice] toward a stay of your at the beautiful Ohio River House. Advance Reservations are necessary (it's best to reserve a room at least two weeks in advance). by the person to whom the Certificate is issued. Gift Certificates expire twelve (12) months after the date of purchase. The $25 Non-Refundable deposit also applies to reservations made more than 30 days in advance of the scheduled arrival date for the use of a Gift Certificate. A refund of the $25 non-refundable deposit will be issued at the time of check-in for Guests redeeming a Gift Certificate. Our cancellation policy also applies to reservations made for the use of a Gift Certificate; see above for details. Rates & Sales Tax: State & Local Sales and Lodging Tax of 10.25% is NOT Included in the above rates. The rates indicated above are subject to change and may not be effective for reservations three or more months in advance. Forms of Payment: We accept cash, personal checks, Master Card and Visa.
